Frequently asked questions
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Go to your Profile page, click "Manage Subscription" to open the billing portal. Cancel in two clicks — no hoops, no retention calls. Your saved recipes stay accessible on the free tier.
What counts toward my recipe save limit?
During your 30-day trial and on Pro or Premium, saves are unlimited — there's no limit to count against. After the trial, the free plan doesn't include new saves, but everything you already saved stays in your cookbook to view, edit, and organize.
What happens to my recipes if I downgrade?
All your saved recipes stay in your cookbook. You can still view, search, edit, and cook from them. You just can't save new ones until you upgrade again.
What's the difference between Pro and Premium?
Pro gives you unlimited recipe saves and public sharing links. Premium adds cook mode with timers and step tracking, smart scaling with spice dampening, AI-powered shopping lists, photo and PDF import, import from Paprika and Plan to Eat, PDF recipe export, full JSON data export, offline access (PWA), manual recipe entry, and personal recipe notes.
Is the lifetime plan really forever?
Yes. One payment, all Premium features, no expiration. If we add new features, lifetime members get them too. It's the best deal if you know you'll stick around.
Do you offer refunds?
Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled anytime with no refund needed — you keep access through the end of your billing period. For lifetime purchases, contact us within 14 days for a full refund if it's not what you expected.
Can I switch plans?
Yes, upgrade or downgrade anytime from your Profile page. When upgrading, you're charged the prorated difference immediately. When downgrading, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Is my payment information secure?
All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe is PCI Level 1 certified — the highest level of payment security.
