- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes. Go to Settings in the app, click "Manage Subscription" to open the Stripe portal. Cancel in two clicks — no hoops, no retention calls. Your saved recipes stay accessible on the free tier.
- What counts toward my recipe save limit?
- Each recipe you save from a website or create via photo import counts as one save. Editing, deleting, or re-saving an existing recipe does not count. Manual recipe entry is a Premium feature and does not count against your limit.
- What happens to my recipes if I downgrade?
- All your saved recipes stay in your cookbook. You can still view, search, and cook from them. You just can't save new ones beyond the free tier limit (5 per month) until you upgrade again.
- What's the difference between Pro and Premium?
- Pro gives you unlimited recipe saves and public sharing links. Premium adds photo import for handwritten recipes, cook mode with timers and ingredient checkoff, offline access (PWA), cookbook PDF download, JSON export, manual recipe entry, recipe notes, smart scaling, and shopping lists.
- Is the lifetime plan really forever?
- Yes. One payment, all Premium features, no expiration. If we add new features, lifetime members get them too. It's the best deal if you know you'll stick around.
- Do you offer refunds?
- Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled anytime with no refund needed — you keep access through the end of your billing period. For lifetime purchases, contact us within 14 days for a full refund if it's not what you expected.
- Can I switch plans?
- Yes, upgrade or downgrade anytime from Settings. When upgrading, you're charged the prorated difference immediately. When downgrading, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- Is my payment information secure?
- All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe is PCI Level 1 certified — the highest level of payment security.
